Daylight Hours vary dramatically during the year in Iceland because of its position on the globe.


Around December 21st. daylight is limited and the sun only peaks 2.7° over the horizon at noon in Reykjavik.
Around June 21st. there is daylight around the clock and the angle of the sun is 49.3° at noon in Reykjavik.

More darkness in the winter translates to more hours with possibility of seeing the Northern Lights.
